New Summit School at 1417 Lelia Drive is a unique place. Its mission—“To encourage students to reach their full academic potential while promoting their emotional well-being”—is taken seriously by its faculty. With small classes and very individualized goals for its students, it has become a highly respected school in the metro area.
“A Night in the Garden,” New Summit School’s 16th Annual Draw Down and Auction fundraiser is Saturday, February 27 from 6–9 p.m. This year’s event takes place in the New Summit School Gym.
This event raises funds for student scholarships, classroom supplies, and technology equipment, and has proven to be an entertaining event for all who participate.
There will be 350 draw down tickets sold with a chance to win a grand prize of $5,000. The silent auction starts at 6 p.m. followed by heavy hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by “Southern Komfort Brass Band” throughout the night.
