St. Dominic’s Heart Failure Clinic
Located on the first floor of St. Dominic Hospital, this stand-alone clinic is overseen by an experienced nurse practitioner.
We provide detailed education about the disease process, dietary restrictions and therapy options. We also offer laboratory services, support groups, and if warranted, intravenous or intramuscular diuretic injections. We help patients manage symptoms of heart failure and related issues. Patients can easily make an appointment with a referral from their cardiologist or primary care provider.
Our goal is to help patients regain a lifetime of wellness, prevent costly inpatient hospital stays and maintain a high quality of life.
Have your cardiologist or primary care provider call St. Dominic’s Heart Failure Clinic at 601-200-2280 to schedule an appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or have a diagnosis of congestive heart failure:
- Shortness of breath
- Swelling in the ankles, feet, legs or abdomen
- A weight gain of three pounds overnight or five pounds in one week
