Palmer Home Presents 3rd Annual Southern Soirée
An evening of great food, live music, and a premier silent auction
Palmer Home for Children is inviting the Jackson and surrounding metro area community to support children in need Tuesday, October 27, 2015, by attending a fall evening of fine cuisine, live music, and a silent auction benefitting the ministries of Palmer Home for Children, an organization that currently cares for more than 100 children.
“The Southern Soirée is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the mission of Palmer Home,” said event chair Amy Felder. “The organization provides residential care at no cost for the children or their families. The Soirée helps raise funds necessary to provide for the children, and provides Palmer Home the opportunity to give back to the sponsors and the people who faithfully support the organization and our children.”
Attendees can expect an evening of fine cuisine by Fresh Cut Catering and live music by Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster, one of the premier show and dance bands of the Southeast. “So come prepared to put on your dancing shoes!” said Amy. The event will also feature a silent auction, premier auction and fantastic raffle items, including art, spa packages, gifts, clothing, jewelry, and more. There will be something for everyone.
“Palmer Home relies on the support of the Jackson community to help raise these children,” Amy said. “By coming out and supporting this event, you will be directly helping these precious children while having fun in the process! Our volunteers are working hard to make this year’s Southern Soirée the best yet. This party is really ‘come as you are,’ with a mix of casual to cocktail attire in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Come prepared to have a good time!”
