LawFit vs FireFit

 

     If you think cops are all coffee and donuts, and firefighters loaf around watching TV at the station, you might want to come to LawFit vs FireFit.

 

     This is a first annual event to benefit First Responders of Mississippi, and MCL is a proud sponsor! It’s happening in Madison the last weekend of July and includes a fitness test and agility course challenge.

 

     Our cover guy, Lt. Col. Thomas Tuggle, will be there. He’s a nine-time National LawFit Champion. But don’t think the firefighters won’t bring the heat!

 

     Ultimately, the grand prize is bragging rights over your fellow first responders — at least until next year, anyway.

 

     The fitness events will take place Friday, July 26 at 9 a.m. at the Baptist HealthPlex (501 Baptist Drive), and at 6:30 p.m. at Madison Central High School. An awards brunch will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the HealthPlex.

 

     The best part? Admission is free.
