2018 Christian Leaders of the Future Event

Kitchen Tune-Up

Mississippi Christian Living, in partnership with Belhaven University, honored our tenth class of Christian Leaders of the Future at an afternoon event on Belhaven’s campus March 5. Two interactive back-to-back workshops were followed by a reception and an awards presentation. Levi Chinchen, Amy Marler, and Perry Powell were the recipients of the 2018 scholarships.

Marilyn Tinnin presented scholarships to Laine Marler of Brandon, Levi Chinchen of Jackson, and Perry Powell of Madison.

Workshop leader Mandi Stanley posed as a game show host during her presentation. The Family Feud style questions allowed brainstorming, thought generation, and interesting revelations—all valuable and relevant for future college freshmen!

FCA Staff member and US Tennis Professional Art Jones challenged the finalists to live out their faith with consistency and intentionality on the college campus.

Our workshop leaders knew how to make their not-to-be-forgotten points with creative exercises.

Dr. Roger Parrott, President of Belhaven University.

Former MSU Executive Director of the Alumni Association, Dr. Jimmy Abraham spoke to parents, finalists, and friends on “Being a Christian Leader in Today’s World.”
